Very nice. Such renders prove Corona, event at current stage of development, can be successfully used in professional works.

Probably because of grass and plants.

my thoughts:
-more variation of hair length on the carpet
-wrinkles on the table cloth
-those plates one the table (don't know the name in English) look a bit flat
-material on chairs looks more like plastic than leather (or maybe it is plastic?)

ok! thanx!
-cow hide: ir is just scattered grass - bended littlebit sharply. I will add hair and fur object (AFAIK key added support for HaF in one nightly build) so i can have greater control over the direction. Texture for scattered fur is Cellular map with world mapping. One fifth of hairs is just Brown and one fifth is just White. Mesh for distribution has some slight Z-axis noise to add some fake lenght variation.

.- only few and very subtle

- those "underplatethingies" are actualy made from "mesh" straws, but in this angle they merge/blend opticaly together, i will add more color variation and subtle bulge/wave/bend to it.

- oh snap.. it is plastic *embarased shy*
I am not sure about material, i kind of like it this way in the end. but on the other hand in GTA4 it is kind od dark rough leather.

wow- and i notticed now tha those two candles do not have some plate or stand...

ps: i hate my phone

pss: edit: Ive corrected few typos...

As for the model:

it was quick conversion from LDR file founde here:

http://technicopedia.com/

opened in http://www.leocad.org/  exported to OBJ and... whoa...shitty model, all triangles, no smoothing groups

How did you get such a caustic of the glass (in the first picture)?

*shy*
well...I do not know, but it was looking cool so I kept taht :D I think it is "mesh" (imported from sketchUP) and shading-bump issue... i will try to rerender the image in newest daily build - then chech issue with bump map on/off.

Yet another render... it is like 97% done... forgot to plug in material with solved mapping issues..

Slight CC in photoshop.. My brother and some of his friend are starting busynes with making custom build wooden glasses (and some other materials for composite) and huge opportunity for me :P

There`s a free script, which allows you to get rid of useless triangulation, you can find it on scriptspot. Thank you for sharing these LEGO resources, i am preparing my own lego render now :)
