[Max] I need help! / Re: Scene parsing issues

Hi,

This issue has been a real problem for us to reproduce here in the office, which makes it very difficult for us to fix.

Are you able to send over your scene? This gives us the best chance of reproducing this. Instructions on how to send over scenes can be found in my signature.

Thanks,

Rowan

I've already sent it, I've a support ticket: #18124

And how do you experience Chrome Remote Desktop? Is it good? Did someone found parsing scene hang with it?
Uninstalled Anydesk and Parsec too, but the problem is still exists. We've been using Chrome Remote Desktop in the office for years (2 workstation 4 rendernodes) without any scene parsing issues. The 2 workstations are identical as well as hardware and software environment but only my computer does this anoying thing.

Hi,

Please make sure that your windows version is fully updated too.

Thanks,

Rowan

It is updated and brand new. It's a fresh install of Windows 11.

Can you please try with the latest Corona v.9 daily build and report back if the issue persists? https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=36810.msg199437#msg199437

I've already uninstalled also Parsec and Anydesk, I'll give a try to Chrome Remote Desktop.
We're in production environment, so I'd not try and experiment dailiy builds...

I haven't had any scene parsing issues on my end, it could be due to different factors so I suggest you give it a try, it's free as far as I'm aware.

Unfortunatelly, I've had the same issue with Parsec too. :(

I am using Parsec with little issues so far. I find it to be night and day speed-wise compared to Anydesk.

But a lot of user mentioned errors with Parsrc above. It seems that is makes the same parsing scene error as Anydesk.

Hi,
What remote desktop solution do you suggest instead of Anydesk? Teamviewer is a bit expensive, so waht else?
Corona 8 also makes this scene parsing issue... :(

Thanks!

Hello!

I'm also suffering from this issue. For me Logitech G Hub is suspicious, does any of you using it?

Then please no, albedo doesn't worth single additional byte if it couldn't be turned off. I had low memory situations many times more, than i have used albedo pass.

A FullHD pic means +16MB RAM, a 4K means +64MB RAM, I think it's not much. Displacement, Proxies and those hundreds of textures eats the RAM. When rendering is out of memory that 64MB won't save anybody's life...

Just a few simple suggestion:
- Albedo warning could be an option in the VFB. I think no one wants to save it as a render element, people only want to know if a material is wrong.
- Corona Object Properties (diffuseion level, brightness, contrast, gamma, saturation). Just imagine a when you import and convert for example a bookshelf with dozen of colorful and white texture maps, how simple it would tu decrease the saturation and diffusion level of the books with one click, instead of going through the material one by one.
