Due to Corona being based on reality, it is not possible in one pass. Best first thought is render twice, once with the light visible in reflections, one with it invisible (that is, all reflections), and then combine in post using an object mask to isolate the sphere.
What a shame, I know I could do it in comp but is pretty difficult with complex objects and animations :(

Hello guys!

Is it possible to hide a light reflecting just in some object in the scene?
Like in the attached image, is it possible to show light reflection just on sphere and not on the plane?

I need help Cinema 4D / Re: Anisotropic rotation material?

This is the closest I could get.

Maybe you can tweak it to your needs :)

Wow cool man!
Thank you so much :D

I need help Cinema 4D / Anisotropic rotation material?
« on: 2019-07-04, 11:07:50 »
Hello guys,

I know this is a pretty noob question but I can't setup an anisotropy material like the one attached.
What kind of texture should I use?

Thank you!

Yep I know this workaround already, you can save in a single file too if you set multipass save path in the render settings.
It would be great to have all passes packed in a single file doing "save all" from the corona vfb. Nothing special actually, just a feature that would be cool imho.

Hey guys,

I noticed that doin "save all" from the vfb saves multiple passes in separate images. Is it possible to save all passes as layers in a single psd/tiff file?

Guys that is sick but I can't understand how Corona was involved in the process.
My question may sound stupid but isn't this kind of stuff created using Unity/Unreal Engine?

I need help Cinema 4D / How to blend multiple bumps?
« on: 2019-05-20, 18:06:41 »
Hello guys,

how could I blend multiple bump maps using nodes?
I'll try to explain better with an example. In the attached images you can see the same material with a leather bump (normal+extra bump) and a procedural noise material (yep, bad mapping at the moment).
Is it possible to blend both the leather tex+procedural noise?
I think it is possible to do using c4d's layer shader but I can't figure out how to set it up correctly. Bumps have different strength since the leather normal is 5% while the noise is 80%...

Thanks in advance for the tips

I solved this creating a new project and importing all the stuff from the old one, now it works properly.
Can't understand the issue anyway :(

Hey guys,

this morning I was working on some studio shots and I was testing both the standard denoiser and the "intel cpu ai".
I switched to the intel one and then went back to the standard but now it's not working anymore. The denoise calculation happens but nothing change if I put 0 or 1 value...
What could be the issue?

Gallery / BMW M4 360 Interiors
« on: 2019-04-12, 15:54:14 »
Hello guys,
I did a couple of 360 to enrich my portfolio, here I show you a 360 featuring a bmw m4 interiors.
I did shading, lighting and post

you can find full project and 360 on my behance here :)

let me know what you think ;)

I know Tom...
Unluckily my client wants all objects separate from the floor (yeah, retarted request).
I don'w know what he's going to do, whatever.

Tricky workaround but it's fine, the fact is that the actual interior I'm working on is more complex then the previous example...
I thought that it was possible to do something with some corona feature :(

Hi guys,
I'm rendering an interior scene and I would like to split objects into the room + their shadows from the rest of the scene.
In the attached image you can see an example of what I mean, I would like the 3 metallic spheres and their shadows to be rendered in a separate layer.
Is it possible in any way? Shadow catcher does not seem to be the solution since it works with backplate only.

Awesome man, everything it's simple and neat but detail level is incredible!
