Hey everyone, today i want to share my latest work.

This visuals were done for the "UNEEK" Design studio based in Latvia.

Whole project took 4 days to complete with 3 sets of corrections.

Software: 3dsMAX, corona-renderer, PhoenixFD, Photoshop.

Task was to make it fit in sorounding and give it more estethic and modern look.

Hey everybody!

Here is our latest work, appartment in Ukraine. We ve been working with this project may be for too long because of lack of info from client and finaly have ended our with them colabarotion so i feel absolutely no sheme to finaly have opprtunity to share this work with you.

I need help / Corona displacemet mod

Can someone explain the woodoo behind the Corona displacement modifier.

The displacement itself looks ok only when the modifyer is applyed in most of the cases X_x

Resolved bugs / Corona rc2 Spherical corona camera

It is very hard to select corona camera with spherical 360 panorama overide in 2017 max because the selection border does not match icon of the map. Basicly it can be selected only by the border of the icon for some reason.

Never been participating in all kind of competitions.

But there is a first time for everything and i decided to try my self out in hardsurface modeling for 3dsky latest modeling competition.

It even brought back the memeroies of when i was working at very small furniture factory in Riga.

And as usual C&C are welcome.

3ds max crashes when the Corona light is selected as distance object in corona distance texture.

And recovered scene is buged too. Only way to debug it is to reset material editor (not opening it) and completely remove buged material from the scene. Because it crashes max instanty when you try to open the material.

- corona ver. 2 DB May 3 2018

The bug was found by acident (so as the light was picked by acident).

Prob. solution - remove option of selecting lights in to distance texture?

Woooohoooo finaly something from my workflow i can share!

Little project for friends. In very short terms ( couple of days literaly).

I will try to keep this updated as they will launch the web page.

PS - all images are sraight out of VFB even chromatic abberations are made inside corona using custom bokeh shape. (wich is below if anyone is interested)

Work in Progress/Tests / Phoenix testings

I got some spare time two days ago and spent it for testing new functions in latest daily.

Nothing fancy , simple pt flow setup and very simple simulation setup everything took about one hour with setup and simulation.

The most amazing thing was the rendertime. 60 frames with 10 pases per 1 frame + glow took about 30 min to render and 10 pases was more than enough to get a clear noiseless image.

Only disapointing thing was that the alpha chanel is messed up (basicly there is no alphs chanel for fire and smoke but i thing i might have missed something in the setup or if i havent i think there should be workaround)

PS - may be i will try to come up with something more interesting in some time if i ll have gaps in my workflow.

Since i had a couple of hours of free time, i decided to do something for myself and test out fresh daily build.




Software used - 3ds MAX, zbrush, megascans bridge.

All postproc done inside corona except for chromatic aberrations.
