Hi,
Just noticed a lot of materials still default to metal and was wondering if its in the pipeline to somehow resolve this? Or is there's going to be a global metal or non-metal option in the conversion script?

Hi,
I'm really exited about the new physical materials for Corona 7!

But I'm having sort of a hard time figuring out how to turn reflections down, probably because the nomenclature changed on the upgrade? I converted a scene from 6 and it looks the metal material changed the kept glossiness and there's no option for roughness but when I start a new 7 material the roughness is available but the glossiness is not.

I'm assuming the converter isn't aware of any roughness settings which keep the "glossiness" term but its confusing.

I'm probably totally wrong and if someone can point me to "everything you want to know about Corona 7 reflections, conversion's and ALL!!" I'd really appreciate it.

Why is it when the only thing I change from the default values is the shadow amount and save a png, the shadows look the same? Do I need to changes something else?

Hi,
Not sure why the light is not showing in viewport. I think it's because I'm creating a light, then turning on target, then moving the light to another layer and forgetting to move the target. This might be a Max bug and not corona. See attachments. Is this a bug? It's probably a button I clicked and don't remember.

I also had similar issues in the past (that may have been fixed) with corona camera targets resetting to zero and was never was sure if it's my workflow, something to do with switching between DOF override and target or a Max bug.

[Max] I need help! / shadow catcher

I'm trying to add a shadow catcher floor but only have 1 light cast a shadow. But if I exclude other lights from the floor, the main light shadow in the alpha doesn't look correct. Not sure if this is the correct way to go about setting this up - any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks

I understand why the alpha isnt saved when saving all in the VFB but would it hurt to just save the alpha? whats the cons?

Not sure this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. But I really liked how interactive would update as I spin the environment around. But I can only see the image update interactively while keeping the mouse pressed when the image upscaling factor is at 1.0. I need to release the mouse press on the default 2.0 to see the image update. Thanks

Only question I have (which is not critical) is:
How do I sample select a color using the corona improved picker across multiple monitors? It seems I still need to move the chrome browser to the max screen, resize both apps and then select.

Not sure if this is possible or if there's a need for this but maybe an option to exclude objects from the clipping plane? Could be beneficial on section renders when furniture, plants or people get clipped.

Hi,
Not sure if this is unsupported or already logged but do the intermediate, narrow and spotlight IES lights show black behind refractive glass?
