Oh, I understand now. I'm afraid that's not possible. Or at least not that I know of. Form what I tried now, each material stack will have one material ID regardless of e.g. the opacity of the top material in the stack.

Hi, have you tried Multi-Pass with Object buffer ID Mask passes? Look at the attached picture. Let me know if this is what you want and if everything is clear...

Do note however that we don't guarantee backwards compatibility of the scenes! So while you will be able to go back to Corona v4, your scenes created in newer version might or might not work. Worst case they will crash and you'll not be able to continue with your project. Of course, they'll work in the newer versions, but it might take some time before those are fixed. So never switch versions when working on a project and don't use daily build versions on critical projects!

I tried this for a while and then I realized - why would you want alpha there? It's a mask channel! The mask is defined by white pixels and the rest is black. I think this is by design

Hello guys, Cinema crashes everytime after Rendering passes when I use IntelĀ“s denoiser even with HQ filtering off.

Hi, what version of Corona are you using? This has already been reported and we think it might have been fixed by using a new version of the denoiser, which got introduced in one of the v5 dailies.

Hi, unfortunately, this is an issue that will be fixed in the next RC. For now, you can use the old method of applying a material onto the Corona Sky

What the heck? I haven't seen this before actually... Maybe this is automatically done by C4D if you have too many shader plugins installed? Maybe it then moves all the 3rd party shader plugins under the "plugins" folder in order to keep a compact shader menu?

Yes, lower values mean less fireflies. But also less realistic illumination, so be careful. Also, the value of 0 is a special case, which wouldn't work for you, so don't set it to zero.

hello!!!  I have the version 4, of course with monthly fee... I've downloaded the version 5, but the 5 has been the only choice, in c4d... I suppose that it would be possible to switch from the stable 4, to the daily 5... Did I miss something???

I did not find any hint in the latest changelog so it might be pure coincidence. ;-)
Yes it was, in the daily build from today. At least the part where the viewport freezes when switching from one view to another (prespective to top view for example). It still freezes for a while when i copy a proxy but i can live with that... for a while :) I think they did write something about doing something about that in the future, but i'm not sure if I understood it right, so don't take my word for it.

You got it exactly right, Henrik and yes, we will fix the other issue in the not-so-distant future. I'm really happy that this daily fixed the biggest proxy issues for you!
