Well, I think I've found the solution for this problem:

1. Copy all textures used in the materials to the 'tex' folder in your own preset library. Even textures from other presets libraries.
2. Reasign textures from the library to the materials (all file paths should point to 'preset://your_library/tex/file.xxx')
3. If you use layered materials, add a Null object as the child of your model and assign to it layered materials and all materials used as layers (for example: layeredMat and Mat1, Mat2 etc.)
4. Drag your model to the preset library
5. Finally drag your model from your library to s new scene...everything  should works fine :)

Point '3' also works well when copying model with layered materials to the another scene.

Bug Reporting Cinema 4D / Re: Node materials

Well...I've found temporary solve for copying layered materials. I add null object to the scene, assign all corona materials to it then select all objecst I want to copy plus this one null. When I paste all of them to the new scene layered materials work without any tweaks :) Now I can delete null object. Not very elegant but works with minimum of effort :)

Bug Reporting Cinema 4D / Node materials
« on: 2018-12-10, 12:39:03 »
Hi guys,
I'm wondering if only I have problems with copying corona's materials with nodes between scenes? Bitmap, layers and sometimes filter nodes disappear in new scenes. So that means creating and using any materials library is impossible. Also layered materials are pasted without layers. I've reported that problem a several weeks ago, and I'd like to ask if you are working on it or maybe it's fixed yet? Thank you.

Hey,
after doing a few tests, I've realized that material node system is the main source of problems I have.
I love how nodes work, but I'm not able to create corectly working presets libraries of my objects, textured with node materials.
I'm loosing textures (they are not copied to tex folder in presets), nodes inside materials dissapear (especially layer and filter nodes).
Also textures are not visible in texture manager...maybe here is a problem.
After convert all materials to old, non-node system (I mean after build them from scratch :) ) all my problems has gone...
But I want to say I love Corona, quality of renders and speed, and I'm very happy you are doing this great job. Thank you!
I hope all these issues will be fixed shortly...but in the meantime I switch back to old materials.
Cheers!

Hi guys,
any news about this?
Thanks!

I think some nodes are missing...
I attach how the nodes should look.
I'm on the B2 RC1 now and everything works OK.
Actually, your nodes are sorted different than mine...strange...

Thank you guys,
files uploaded.
I forgot to mention, I've tested it on Mac OSX (Xeon MacPro) C4DR19 and C4DR20.

Bug Reporting Cinema 4D - resolved / Material node problem
« on: 2018-10-13, 15:59:05 »
Hi there,
unfortunately I've found a serious problem with node materials which makes corona completely unusable for me...
Sorry for saying that but just take a look on these screenshots.
After saving scenes with materials created with nodes, while reopening them I loose connections betwen nodes! I have no idea what happens...
Also no textures are shown in textures manager...
I'm not able to manage complex scenes and find these issues...

I do not think so. For me, this option does not work at all, I've tried dozens of times ... :(

Corona Renderer for Cinema 4D - general / Render stamp

Hi there,
is there any way to increase font size for render stamp?
I'm old and blind...hahahaha :)
Thanks!

Hmmm ...
I've done some tests. After loading .crx VFB continues rendering but image is black.

Can you give more information, such as the steps followed, Mac or PC, etc? Also, does the saved cxr look correct when opened in the Corona Image Editor for example?

Here's what I tested and it worked (C4D R19, PC, latest Corona daily)
- Load scene
- Render in VFB for 10 passes
- Save to CXR from the VFB save dropdown
- Close C4D
- Reopen C4D and reload the scene (the same scene has to be loaded)
- From the VFB, choose the Resume file option from the Render dropdown
- The rendering picked up from where it left off

Thanks!
   Tom

Hi Tom,
I'm on OSX (MacPro Xeon), R18, latest build of Corona. I did your steps except closing C4D.
After loading crx, image in VFB is black. Will do test again tomorrow, now I have to finish some work.
Thanks!

OK,
everything is fine. I probably didn't waited for 10 passes earlier :)
Thanks!

I know render regions, but it's not the same :)
I have recorded sample video.
