OH the lawn... That's geometry scattered with forest, and two extra forest for leaves and grass decorations like wild things that grow with the grass :P
There are 4 grass clumps, each with slightly different textures and colors, on top of that some mixes with noise masks to randomize all, recently i found a new way of texturing grass, hope to show that image on the next week, it allows for more control on the color and discoloration of grass and it could help on very big areas of grass to avoid repetition.

General CG discussion / Help a total begginer on Maxscript
« on: 2020-03-24, 15:55:10 »
Hi, im under quarantine for 20 more days in my country, i was hoping to put this time to good use and to learn the basics of maxscript programming would be very useful, So any of you have good tutorials or resources to get started? maybe some tricks and tips you have learn ? Where do you get all the expressions and the basic programing language? Have any tried phyton with 3dsmax? it's supposed to be easier?
Thank you so much

Hi Leonardo, have you tried autodesk security tools? it comes as an extension or with 3dsmax 2019 and so on. That tool can clean the virus, but i would use it and then reinstall a fresh copy of max

Hi, Water material is super simple, a box with the pool shape (same dimension as water container minus a half centimeter on each side to avoid intersection)
black diffuse ior 1.33 white and its like 400cm on the distance absorption color, and a light blue/teal color.
