Ok, offset is basic workflow, but I can not be satisfied with it, for me is obsolete.
And about viewport envir rotation, one of best method for setting light direction is from Top view, you see scene geometry, you can imagine where is sun going, shadow direction.

Yes, i know, it is also an option, but 3dsmax Daylight assembly is strange combo with useless Compas, etc. Daylight simulation is only Adesk wish, I never use it, every job is more about "mood", not about precision.
I just like elegant and clever solutions.

Yes, we have own wired "sun rig", exactly like you wrote, but why not do is clean and Corona native?
I understand, Corona cant be able to do everything, but I still think that good and user friendly HDRI lighting could be one of primary features modern renderer. Current HDRI workflow with offset bitmap, or horizontal rotate in VrayHDRI, ok, standard for now, but little obsolete too.

And CoronaHDRI idea, CoronaSun in this scenario is only horizontal rotation helper and is typically turned off.

Hi Ondra,

Please add for CoronaSun classic behavior option, like target light.
Change of direction via move the sun in viewport is still the best.

(and in conjunction with my previous request, CoronaHDRI, I will be happy like pony :)

Hi Ondra,

in the future I would be very grateful for native corona HDRI loader with basic color adjustments (exposure, hue, saturation),
but mainly LINKED with the sun rotation. Sun can be turned off, still will work as a helper for this rotation.

Hi Ondra,

- please use for list of DR slaves separate dialog (bigger, scalable, ... for 30+ slaves farms), with multiselection of rows, add possibility ON/OFF/delete.
- add setting for subnet (we have workstations on 192.168.0.x, farm on 192.168.1.x)
- save/load list of slaves (like 3dsmax Preset: ?)
- each parameter accessible via maxscript
- list of slaves like editable text config file (plugcfg\corona_DR.cfg ?)
