To be honest I am sticking with MoGraph for now. It is a pain when you try to scatter 500k instances because the viewport kinda goes crazy (disabling MoGraph in the viewport is a must) but the preparation times are low.

From my experience SurfaceSpread is pretty amazing but not if you try to scatter a lot of stuff. Preparation times are long but the viewport is rocking.

CarbonScatter on the other hand, I heard its buggy but it can scatter a ton of stuff. Haven't tried it.

Been using Carbon scatter for just over a year and i agree, it is pretty buggy so if you plan on purchasing it make sure you also purchase their maintenance pack along with it, otherwise you will  be very disappointed like myself. On the other hand, when the plugin does work, it is extremely helpful.

Hope someone can chime in here as well :)

Corona for C4D Alpha 6 is out! This is the final version of Alpha 6, with many new features (and bug fixes) compared to Alpha 5 - full details (and there are a lot!) are on the blog post:

https://corona-renderer.com/blog/corona-for-c4d-alpha-6-final-released/

And of course you can download it from the main Corona download page:
https://corona-renderer.com/download/

Can Someone please help me, whenever i create a proxy and reload it, the objects reloads without the materials, am i doing something wrong? i need to create proxies for my Viz-Park Tree collection. If you are familiar with these models, they are pretty heavy files and each tree is a single objects with 3 or so selection tags but no matter what i try the materials do not reload along with the proxy. Please Help.. Thanks

Thanks!

Amazing set of images, How long did it take from start to finish and what softwares did you use? would be great to see a "making of" tutorial for this. Corona should implement a page for that, much like over at Ronen Bekerman, might as well, the corona community is so big and the 3D artists here are too good.

Thanks guys for the feedback, The Original photo i posted was just one i pulled from the internet last minute. The one i used to match the camera was actually cropped as shown in the rendering but i somehow misplaced it. All match showed to  be accurate on screen as i did it so the Aspect ratio etc were exactly as original. I use Cinema 4D and Corona Alpha 5.1 at the time i think.

Short making off 2: (reserve place)

Also I find having multiple renderings sparks more intrest and does way better story telling than 1 or 2 full frame wide angle shot. I despise those unless they're accompanied by a collection of close ups like you have here and always do.

Very clean and spiffy as always. You and your Girlfriend are on another level. I inspire to deliver the same quality of work in the future.

You bad!!!, this is amazing, I'm still struggling with pacing myself when I do my work. I find i rush and end up not liking a lot of of my own work. I can do so much better, any tips on managing your creatives and attention to detail while keeping everything in a set time frame ? I use inspiration images but most times they get over looked as I struggling with recovering from crashes in Corona for C4D alpha 6. And heavy files especially when it comes to exterior renderings. I've countered dealing with heavy files by using x-refs for now until proxies are fully operable but my main problem: I really struggle with slowing it down and adding much more attention to detail and story telling aspects of the rendering.  Any tips anyone ????

The Multipass settings for Corona are in their own location, accessed via the Corona menu, screengrab attached!

Hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for your quick respense, i actually found it right after posting the question. Thanks anyway.

Hi, i noticed multi-pass is in the effects section of the rendering settings but corona is only rendering out 1 single pass, am i missing somthing?
