Is it possible to stop the IR from updating if there is no change to settings that will affect a render in a scene? Example, with IR is running and I re-name something in the hierarchy or rearrange the positioning of something in the hierarchy etc. Thanks

Are you running the latest build? I mentioned the same problem a while ago, I was having the same issue. Would render just fine the first time, adjust a light or move an object and it would disappear. Punch in the exact same settings again (which were still there), render again and it was back. It was like a loop.

No not all scenes. It rarely happens so it's not really not a bother to me. Just found it strange. As for this scene, It's just an extruded plane with some spot lights overhead.

So sometimes my IR window won't render unless I click and hold the window with my cursor. Can't reproduce it as it happens at random times. Sometimes the scene is heavily populated and sometimes just a cube. It varies. Running the latest build, video attached.

Have you tried rendering it as an image sequence instead of a .mov?

Strange, I just did a quick test render and it seems to be fine here. Is there a mesh inside for a liquid?

I still can't zoom out further than "actual" size in the IR, Come render time though it's fine. That option would be much appreciated.

Hey Ben! I already replied somewhere that this is intentional. In 3DSMax, the render updates its size according to the VFB size. This is not yet implemented in Cinema4D plugin, but will be done later. Combined with zooming out in IR, this wouldn't make much sense. Also, we want to keep the common part of Corona (among others, the VFB) consistent between plugins.

Thank you for the bug report Ben. Can you please test it in the 2017-11-07 daily build (https://corona-renderer.com/forum/index.php?topic=15602.msg114025#msg114025) and if it will crash can you please send me the scene because it works on my computer in the latest daily build.

Hi Nikola,

Just tested it but got another crash. This time it was from dropping the sky object into the environment slot of the shadow catcher. Prior to that, dropping a noise shader into the texture slot worked. I've attached my bug.
