Personally I never use ambient occlusion, its not even realistic and when its used its rarely done right.

Yes, I made a new scene and imported all my models and still the same.
Can someone explain the workflow for region render? Is this a bug, is this intentionally?
Regarding the internal res?Has an alternative been provided or?

Like I said before, i really love corona. But this version seems to hit all the wrong notes.

So I installed corona 1.4 yesterday and well... It feels like big step backwards.
Region render doesn't work, at all.

When I select region render in VFB and drag a selection it renders a previous region. Not the one I selected.
So basically the only way to effectively use region render is still via the render menu and then drag your selection.

Unless i'm doing something really wrong, I just don't seem to get this working at all.
I'm also looking for the internal res section... has this been removed?

Color settings are completely skewed, which i'm not even sure how its possible.

I kIf you are using Corona light objects > "visible in reflections"

Problem is this removes the visibility from every material. I just need it removed from one material.

I'm currently working on a project, and I have some lights that need to be visible in the reflections.
All but one.  How can I remove the reflections from one material?

I would, only if you update your farm with the sigertool plugin :d
Half of my material library sits unused because I can't use them if I wanna render with you lol.

Pretty awesome but could use some color variation. Some people use a colormap on the diffuse map to change the color.
I personally play with the translucency color, its quicker and gives the same result.

seems pretty straightforward.
Corona material, set diffuse to black
Add concrete texture -> bitmap at around 10%  ( mix it with a blend to make it somewhat unique )
Reflection : no map
Ior at 2 or something.
Glossy  at around 30%
A good glossy map
Add a gentle bump.

Can you try that?

Well firstly, your image is underexposed. It needs to brighten up.
Secondly, use better textures. The sofa has terrible tiling taking place.
Also, corona is very bump sensitive, so you might wanna tone it down.

One last thing, I don't understand the need for the yellow box and the weird Egyptian chair.
