Corona Renderer for Cinema 4D - general / Re: Sand in detail
« on: 2018-12-20, 09:13:50 »
Here is a tutorial for quite detailed sand. It's 3ds max specific but I guess there is a similiar scatter option in Cinema.

I guess unless you activated the autosave-function in the render settings... the render is gone. :/

If you talk to these guys ask for a built in material studio as well!  :)

You mean something like the Material-Studio in Cmpp?

Do you mean from a scene or an existing library?

For a scene.  I have the problem that if I add multiple materials to Connecter it always creates one Mat-File with several preview renderings.

Would be cool if it would be possible to automate this more. I had a chat with on of the Connecter Guys a few days ago and mentioned this "issue". They plan to do this in one of the next updates. So just a little bit of waiting. :)

Quick question for dummies:

What is the best way to add several materials at once with its corresponding previews?

Hello again guys!

I've got another question for you. Where can i get 3d models of large rocks & stones for a project im working on? The house is going to be placed on a scandinavian coast.

I guess the Megascans library could fit pretty well:

Bug Reporting / Re: 3ds max saves before render
« on: 2018-04-23, 16:41:57 »
the save is actually done by Corona, because we need to send the scene over net. We might optimize this, by asking 3dsmax if the scene needs to be saved first

Ondra, I made a feature request with AD to start doing autosave (and manual save) in the background without user interaction, without max locking up, like how Adobe packages work. This seems to have gone further down the line and they might actually be implementing it. It might be worth speaking with them about this, perhaps they can help.

Finally! Thanks for that!

Great job, Roxane !
May I ask what software you use to generate your virtual tours (hotspots, controls ...). We recently tried theViewer.co, but much too expensive, so we're looking for other solutions.

Regards.

PS: I currently looking into VRto.me
It's a bit cheaper.

Looks like KRPano.

Quick question: Are the lighting-controls a custom script or is this a standard feature?
