[Max] I need help! / Blurring Bercon Noise

Can not work out how to blur a Bercon noise map in the same way you can blur a standard noise map, any ideas appreciated!

Hi Keymaster,

Having this occur quite regularly on imported geometry, the data originates from Rhino and I have imported as both SAT body objects and meshed obj but still the same issue.
The artifacts do not occur in Vray or Octane when tested, I have attached examples and it mostly occurs on tight radii of surfaces that were split with a detail (when NURBS).

General CG Discussion / Nurbs to quad mesh conversion?

Has anyone a method to do this, I have been around in circles trying to find a good solution to get Rhino Nurbs data into a high quality quad mesh for UVW unwrapping in Max.
There are always trimmed surfaces so T-Splines as an intermediate is out of the question, closest solution I have is to convert to N-gons mesh in MOI from Rhino and then to Max as obj, far from perfect though. Would love to know if anyone has a solution??

[Max] Resolved Bugs / ShadowCatcherMtl Issue with LightMtl

Came across this on public Alpha 7 using a white environment with Shadowcatcher floor.
Emission from light material appears to transmit through solid object and invert in colour in non direct contact.
