Thank you so much guys. It is very pleasant to deal with you.

I don't know if it's a problem with my file or not, but to get the same exposure as the reference image, I find myself forced to take the exposure of the hdri to -5 or some to -7. leaving the rooms as they are or going to slightly modify the rooms' exposure.

The only hdri where I do not need to change anything because once loaded into the light material reflects the reference image are those of https://darstellungsart.com/en/shop-en/ which I find very interesting also because doing the test of the exposure reduction in ps to -20, the sun dot appears.

I do not reject the fact that I am a newbie so I have definitely missed or missed some steps to get the maximum results from previous HDRIs.

Corona Renderer for Cinema 4D - general / HDRI Peter Guthrie
« on: 2019-04-16, 17:22:29 »
Hi guys,
has anybody ever used or is using Peter Guthrie's hdri in C4d and Corona?
I have problems with the setup of a hdri and I cannot understand if it is better to intervene on the intensity, on the exposure or only by changing the parameters of the camera (iso, ss, and f-stop)
Thanks in advance

Andrea

Maybe they were using it in the Diffuse channel for reflections,

yes ... good thanks

HDR in a light material is correct.

As I suspected.
thanks a lot

Hi guys,
I am writing to ask you for an opinion or rather a correct use of HDR for 4D cinema.
I proceed in this way: I insert the map into a light marerial which I then associate with the sky object.
Today in a viodeo tutorial I saw instead that the map was loaded into the diffuse channel of the new material, then always associated with the sky object.
Now I have tried the second solution and it seems to me that the result is the same ...
What do you say?

Thank you

hello guys, I haven't finished yet, the details are missing and some minor design errors have been corrected, but in the meantime I accept criticism and advice.
The illumination made with hdri from the haven company.

Hi everyone,
as I see it and for the jobs that place, more constructive comments would be welcome (especially to me because I'm still a wimp).
To avoid this you could leave the gallery section and use it as images rewarded by administrators or those with more likes, where the comments do not find much space. While using the WIP section as a general container to post images being processed and final images. Two containers that are very different, it's a bit of confusion.
As an Italian user, many of us are registered at https://www.c4dzone.com/it/, I invite you to visit it.
Mine is just an opinion, the directors can also not take note. ;) ;) ;)
