What about "Metropolis light transport "?
It might be worth it to implement? Instead of PPM in VCM, or ADD.
Or is it not worth the effort? Ondra, can you tell us about this algorithm, how effective is it, or vice versa, is not effective?

I opened my gallery this new work!
HDRI lighting! Enviroment - all in 3D, Sky - HDRI.
Resolution: 2500х1400
Render time: 2h 30 min
No post!!! No color Correct! This RAW render.
The scene has 950,000,000 face.

Attention! CoronaConstantMtl blocking the light! And with the portals blocks a lot.

I would like to draw your attention to the distribution of light from the Corona light (rectangle) under different combination of lighting!
1. When using CoronaSky and emitters together the light distribution from CoronaLight disrupted if the CoronaLight is not visible.
2. However, if you do not use the CoronaSky, the light distribution is correct.
3. And yet, if the scene have a emitters, then CoronaLight begins to make noise.


Now Emitters not usable on complex scene (((
