Unless you meant time differences only, I think it would be easier to compare if you made it in 3 separate images. :)

as we can see, 12/12 more noisy. And a lot noisier in the DOF.

and still in 12/12 DB portals are not working with HDRI.

I will investigate the issue soon, thanks for the tests. But please, it is much easier to compare the results if you post separate images, that way i can flip between them back and forth ;)

I've fixed a bug causing excessive noise and blurring. Please test the daily builds once they get updated to confirm it now renders equally fast

On sharp shots 18/12 equal alpha now! Great!
In DOF in 18/12 is still much noising now than in alpha 5.

But in alpha 5 is impossible to get clean bokeh. In 18/12 it is possible but with very long time render.

Can you post an exaple where the DOF noise is worse? I was unable to get any difference between current build and A5 in my test scenes when using DOF

Some extra research. Got big difference in noise only when set PT=1 even without using DOF.

Scene Not need. Trouble not in DOF.

Got big difference in noise only when set PT=1 even with sharp image.
When set PT=2 or higher then A5 and 18/12 build produce the same result

So you need look at PT=1 in builds.
