Hi there,

I noticed an issue with the Corona B1 RC1.

Here is a sample render at 1200x800:

The same render at 1200x160 using the GUI:

The result is as expected.
Here is the same render using the command line (full resolution is correct):

But when using -oresolution 1200 160, the output is not the same than when using the GUI:

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks!

They don't show at all for me :) Apparently they are linked from someplace, but I just get nothing at all, no sign there were even links there - will check in and see why that might be :) However, the important people can see it so that's ok for now!

It's 1.png to 4.png. Fails for me as well.

Good Luck

TY Frood - yes, trying the link directly, I just get a "Site can't be reached, took too long to respond" message. May be blocked by my ISP or something at a guess (only noting this as it could be important for users when sharing images - they can be uploaded directly to the forum, which is a sure fire way that they will be visible to all).

Sorry for the missing images.
I just edited my first post to attach them directly to the forum, as you suggested TomG.

1.png : 1200x800 GUI
2.png : 1200x160 GUI
3.png : 1200x800 Command line
4.png : 1200x160 Command line (-oresolution)

Thanks!

Hi,

I just want to make sure this issue is not forgotten because it is still present with the latest RC4. ;)

Unfortunately, this issue is pretty annoying for us (Ranch Computing) because we cannot support anymore splitted still image rendering on the render farm as we need to modify the resolution using the command line.

Yann, I sent you a private build with a fix. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the next daily build.
