Uo mean in render or in viewport?
Maybe a reflection or refraction is making it visible in the render? Try disabling those too.

I would like to know how to make them not visible in the viewport, if I may hack this thread

Unchecking visible directly works for me in the final render. It hides as it should.

ahhhhh... if it works why not here........!!!

Sorry for trouble guys, no other system to check. After frustration, scratching head... posted to see may be some problem in beta.

C4D close... system restarted and all works fine as it should.
Works fine.... Thanks for screen shots.

if you go filter > lights, c4d lights will be hidden from the viewport but corona lights will remain in the viewport.
Is there another way to hide them from the viewport?

You can always hide it by turning the visibility to red.

sure, but having 80 or 100 lights in the scene can be a pain to switch all on and off. using the filter is an excellent way to show them while tweaking lights and hiding when done

True, But if they were grouped you could hide them in one click ;)

This. I always put my corona lights into their own null so I can toggle the whole system on or off as needed.  It would be awesome if the C4D filter>Lights worked with Corona lights too,but I understand why they do not.

There's always the selection object, too.
