Render Setup -> "Performance" -> "Interactive rendering" -> "Denoise during render"

Good Luck

This is easy to miss because it's not in good place.

You mean Render Setup -> Scene -> Denoising would be a better place? It's the only other option I can think of.

There could be a toggle button in the vfb.

That would be good to have the button in VFB but yes I meant ideally together with full denoising setup.

Right now, even the setup is strange as they aren't connected. The full denoise setup only applies to final rendering and the interactive only applies to interactive.

Yes, it leads to confusion but having it seperately for production and IR is maybe more unambiguous.

And I will add reference to this request (from last year) for even more confusion or to be considered in this context. I really miss this more than any AI denoise toggle button, it may get misemployed as one though:

https://corona-renderer.com/bugs/view.php?id=2646

BTW: Having AI denoiser in the Denoise Mode dropdown (=for production render) is questionable anyway. What if someone starts an animation job on a farm with nodes not even having any GPUs or mixed ones or GPUs with less ram than needed for example. Best case: nothing gets denoised. Worst case: mixed frames (denoised/not denoised) or crashes/missing frames.

Since there is still no callback (we will never get it, I'm sure, thanks to the you-know-who-company) when submitting network jobs, there is no chance for Corona to issue any warning. So it can happen to everyone! :)

Good Luck

Yup, I am all +1 on that mock-up as well !.

I didn't mean to infer my solution would be for it to be included in single dropdown. I agree it's beneficial for it to be separate, but there should be smarter way of doing it, and it should be imho on same tab.
