I wish Corona lights had a Projection/map slot the same way Standard lights has. For certain things you need projection lights and using Corona light material on a face doesn't work very well for this. This feature is also very useful if you want to map such things as a texturemap for a HDRI light texture onto the light to get softer edges or a certain look to the light (like grids, studio bounce light etc). I used this a lot when I was using Redshift to add shallow warm reflective lights etc same way you'd do in a studio light setup.

So what's wrong with the current option? (texmap)
Can you post some example of what you would like to achieve in Corona?

Never mind this thread, I didn't know I could use projection map slot in standard lights.
