After installing the alpha 4 is such a mistake . Alfa 3 are normal, dayli builds are normal .  Alfa 4 does not allow your computer to boot.

Be sure to follow these instructions:
http://corona-renderer.com/forum/index.php/topic,2.msg2.html#msg2

Delete corona2012 and corona utils, then instal new version.
I did so. I also installed on another max 2011, which had not been installed Corona, but it still fails.

It is probably redistributables installed wrong. Try to reinstall them, and if it does not help, locate msvcrt10.dll and copy it into 3dsmax folder
Rendering is magic.

try downloading the archive again (or use the A4 version from dropbox, if you have the access), only thing changed from A3 was the need to have the additional libraries in 3dsmax root folder

I put the 2011 MAX, or the 2012 Alpha 4 is not working. Alpha 3 works fine, I also have access to one of the old daily builds, he also works. To the folder you dropboks me banned.

some random ideas
- Try running 3dsmax as administrator
- make sure folder C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\version - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona is created
- try downloading max 2013 demo and using corona there

try creating it manually (did you substitute your username and max version in the path?)
