Hi, Using a standard C4D shader should work here. You'll need to enable "Animate Preview" in the material settings. Now when you scrub through the timeline you should see the texture animate. It won't work with IR but it will render just fine when doing a final render.

Hi, This is pretty rough but you could try playing around with the "Spots" Sketch and Toon shader.

Thanks for update.... may be something wrong with my installation.

Hi Imran, do you still have all those multipass passes set up as default? If so, can you try to remove the WireColor pass, save your UI and try again? Please keep us posted.

Bug Reporting Cinema 4D / Re: IR crash
« on: 2020-06-16, 13:26:59 »

I have logged this internally. Does this also happen with the June 11th daily?
(Internal ID=521982135)

Load the scene and start the IR in the viewport.
Select object "links" in the OM.
Rename it. Press enter. IR rerenders the scene without the normal map visible. I assume it's an issue with the vertex map shader I used.

Bonus: Stop the IR. Crash. Does not happen all the time, I guess ;)

Win 10, S22, V6 latest daily

I uploaded the normal texture via dropbox (the private uploader failed to work for me).

Hi Mike, I can't seem to find the file you are refering to. What was it called?

Hi, it might be an issue related to the shared shader. If you can recreate the material without using it, I'd be interested to know the outcome. But as for your original report, I can confirm the nodes are being removed and have logged it internally.

Hi there, we do have this logged internally but thank you for bringing it up again.

Thanks! Yeah that does help, nice shot!
Is that AO simply in your diffuse colour layer?

Sorry about that, I didn't realize I had cut that part off. As there is no diffuse in metal, the AO is residing in the reflection colour channel. I hope that helps :)

Love that result from Max, has anyone rolled this out into C4D?

Maybe this might help? ;)

You may also want to recreate these C4D materials to Corona and plug the textures back into the appropriate channels.

No, its not working.
Tried in photoshop and text edit.

Okay, thank you for the heads up. I will report it immediately.

And don't forget to enable Flip Y (green) if need be. ;)

In VFB, Ctrl+C button works....?

Hi Imran, It does here on Windows. Is it not working for you on macOS?

Hi, I believe this is a C4D issue, not Corona as it wasn't implemented by us. Have you contacted their support? It doesn't work for me either using V5 HF2, V6 Daily, R19, R20, R21 and S22.

Happened to have reported the issue to Maxon last week and they say it's no issue on their end.
After removing all plugins one by one it was only fixed after uninstalling Corona unfortunately.

We're running Corona 5 Hotfix 2 on Windows 10 machines.

Hi, thanks for doing a little test. I can also confirm that if Corona is removed, the duplicates will be deleted. Interesting. I'll add it to our internal bug reports.

Or you could try to enable "thin (no refraction)"?
