Corona Benchmark

Test your computer performance using Corona Benchmark.

The Corona Benchmark is based on the Corona 10 rendering core. It has many uses such as:

  • Checking your machine is performing as well as it should by comparing your result to others from similar machines
  • Comparing what improvements (if any) result from changing something about your hardware, BIOS settings, or Operating System settings
  • Making an informed decision on what hardware to buy by making sure it gives you a notable performance improvement
  • Stress testing the machine to make sure that the cooling can keep up with your CPU when it is hard at work (via command console)

Installation and use

The Benchmark is incredibly simple to use - download the Benchmark above, extract it, and then run the file. Rendering will begin, and will stop again after a set time of 1 minute.

Results

Results are shown as rays-per-second (rays/s), where higher is better. An example is shown below:

From here, you can see your machine’s performance and its hardware stats. You can choose to submit your score to the database, helping build a comprehensive library of results that other users can compare against.

And more

If you want to learn more about the full functionality of the Benchmark you can find all the details in our release blog.

Thanks for choosing the Corona Benchmark, and we hope you find it useful!
